Jet Service Improved to Eagle Vail Airport
A test flight of a regional jet CRJ700 with a seating capacity of 66 seats was successfully completed in early November. With the recent completion of the Eagle Airport runway lengthening of 1,000 feet. We have come closer to seeing this more reliable, comfortable, and larger jet replacing the old and smaller turbo prop aircraft that United Airlines has been operating.
Acording to Eagle Airport, we should see the new jet operating as early as February 2010!

First Big Storm on the way
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Central Rockies starting tonight and continuing until Thursday. Total snow accumulations for 10,000 feet is predicted to be 1-2 feet by the time the storm ends.
